Position Overview

The Certified Medical Assistant performs delegated patient care functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician/authorized Practitioner in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations.  The Certified Medical Assistant performs all these responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedures guidelines

 

Key Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma;
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred;
  • 1-3 years front and back office medical assistant experience;
  • CPR certified;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others;
  • Possess Critical thinking skills;
  • Self- motivator;
  • Computer technology skills desirable;
  • Excellent organizational skills and  the ability to multi-function effectively;
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
