Position Overview

Responsible for providing administrative and project support to the President and CEO in order to ensure smooth operation of hospital processes. Manages, coordinates, and oversees activities and workload of the administrative assistant team. Held accountable for tracking projects and Key Performance Indicators as well as organizing meetings and collaborating in process improvements throughout the hospital. Maintains confidentiality when assisting patients, staff, members of the board, and community who contact the office of the president for assistance.


Key Position Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree  in related field
  • 5 years executive assistant and/or project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio as well as an aptitude for quick learning. Knowledge of chart and graph making is desirable
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and common sense are required attributes to be successful in this position.
  • Works on specialized professional level assignments/projects with general directions and guidance
  • Initiates duties and activities without the need for supervision.
  • Maintains good working relationships with managers, physicians, and staff in an effort to provide assistance and support as needed and on request
  • Conveys a helpful and caring attitude to staff, patients, family members and guests
  • Presents a professional image and approaches situations carefully with tact
