Through a keen understanding of CTCA’s business, this role assumes responsibility for overseeing the scheduling of patient focused healthcare for the patient through many facets across the organization. This includes accountability for the day-to-day operations and long term planning for the scheduling function; maximizing the timeliness of the diagnostic and evaluative processes to facilitate care of the patients; ensuring our oncology patients flow through their care smoothly and effectively by coordinating the schedule between the patient, clinical services and physicians. Additionally, daily contact with oncology physicians discussing issues related to scheduling and patient follow-up, as well as daily contact and communication with patients, caregivers, care managers and clinical services departments will be critical in the overall success of the scheduling function. This role will also be responsible for the execution of patient retention, identifying the involved workflows and departments, involving them in the patient’s critical conversations and touch points in their journey with CTCA.
