To direct the care of the inpatient through the nursing process and through collaboration with the patient, their family and other health care professionals. Provides leadership to non-licensed staff by setting an example of excellence.
Key Position Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS required for new graduates and experienced nurses
- Current ACLS required for experienced nurses; new graduate nurses will be scheduled for ACLS within the first 6-9 months of employment.
- Completion of a basic arrythmia course
- Oncology experience preferred
- Recent ICU experience preferred
- Experience in caring for patients with invasive pressure lines desirable
- Experience in caring for patients who are on mechanical ventilation desirable
