The Physician Relations Market Specialist serves as an Ambassador for CTCA and works directly with the Regional Manager of Physician Relations to execute strategies to increase qualified business from targeted referral sources in designated market areas. The Physician Relations Market Specialist will focus primarily on building business from potential referring physicians and other healthcare professionals with direct influence on patient care decisions. This role is designed to develop and nurture relationships with external physicians and key targets to extend the superior patient service CTCA currently provides to those external/referring physicians. The Market Specialist must also have the ability to understand and convey clinical information to the target audience. Additionally, the Market Specialist must also be able to conduct market scans to identify opportunities for new referral development. Excellent presentation, customer service, relationship building, and problem solving skills are required.
Relationships will be built by conducting effective office visits, presentations, attending conferences, and facilitating hospital tours to educate referring and new physician partners on services offered at CTCA. The Physician Relations Market Specialist must execute appropriate messaging to effectively position CTCA to each prospective referral group and to identify and report unmet needs and operational enhancement opportunities from the marketplace. This role will require significant amount of time in the designated market area(s).
The fundamental measure of success for the Physician Relations Market Specialist is patient acquisition growth for Southwestern Regional Medical Center.
