Supply Chain Technician

The successful candidate:

This position performs hospitals central supply distribution and customer service activities including some biomedical, shipping and receiving tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Distribution of medical supplies and equipment
• Receiving medical supplies, medical equipment and portable oxygen
• Provides critical supplies necessary for clinical areas at the right time and quantity.
• Ensures medical equipment used in clinical setting is properly decontaminated. Delivers and returns portable oxygen from patient areas.
• Inventory related activities such as cycle count, receiving, issuing inventory using the Lawson system.
• Customer service, ad-hoc projects, filing and shipping.

Skills, Education

• Basic computer skills, Microsoft office a plus, ERP usage a plus, CMRP certification a plus,
• High school graduate minimum,
• Hospital materials management experience a plus.
• Basic, reading, writing and math comprehension necessary.
