Description

The housekeeper works as a member of the CTCA Environmental Services team in an effort to provide non-medical sanitation support as a contribution to positive patient outcomes. Position includes regular discharge, patient/guest room, restroom, departmental, general cleaning and other assigned scheduled cleaning tasks. All work is done in accordance with standard procedures of the environmental services department in accordance with the hospital objectives. Use of cleaning equipment, commercial vacuums and all necessary tools, products and supplies.

• High School diploma or GED
• One year previous Environmental Services experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety
