Description

Responsible for performing financial reporting and accounting functions for the Finance Department including demands of PLA, EPSi, Medicare Anaplan and AMPFM reporting, in addition to other revenue cycle analytics. Leads and coordinates the management of the capital investments cycle, which includes the accurate recording, tracking, and analysis of capital investment reqeusts (CIR), recording/tagging assets and depreciation. Leads and coordinates the preparation of budget variance reporting at both the department and corporate office level for the monthly and year-to-date numbers. Assists with preparing the monthly departmental responsibility reports package. Analyzes and prepares data in response to various ad hoc requests (i.e. marketing costs, budget risk schedules, forecasting, depreciation etc.). Assists with analysis of operations, projects, financial modeling, return-on-investment, 10-year projections, and ratio analysis. Prepares various schedules for Management Meetings, Executive Committee Meetings, and Board Meetings. Prepares revenue cycle reporting daily and monthly. Coordinates gathering of and reporting on all statistics for the facility.

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
• 5 years required of Accounting/Finance experience as a financial analyst or in an accounting position with practical accounting experience.
• Previous financial accounting, medical terminonology, third party reimbursement experience helpful. Exposure to GAAP.
• Medicare Cost Report understanding preparation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
